Happy Valentine's Day!

The children did such a wonderful Christmas program for Sunday school and a great job at the Christmas Tea singing "The Little Drummer Boy."  Thank you to all of the adults who make this program such a success.  What fun the young and old had when Santa arrived!

Hello dear Faith UCC SS Classes:

How is your health?  Thank God I am doing well in school.  My family is healthy too.  Thank you for the letter, postcard and drawing you sent me.  It was all pretty.  I am happy to receive news from you because I always think of you.  On Valentine's Day I had a good time and we give gifts and a card for the friends and boyfriends.  My nephew turned 3 and my sister and her husband celebrated it very nicely with cake.  Answering your questions:  I like Christian music.  I like sports, basketball and I also like to play with my classmates.  At home we don't have space for a garden.  I would like one.  I am praying for you so God blesses you.  Pray for me and my family.  Do you have roses in your garden?  I like them very much.  Merry Christmas.  Until soon.  Thank you for your letters, stickers and cards.

Remember our Bibles for India Project

We collect Bibles, hymnals, and religious materials including children's Bible stories.  Outdated encyclopedias that you would like to discard are also accepted.  You may place your items in the box located in the sacristy by the window.  If you have any questions concerning this project, see Sheryl S.

YOUNG FAITH ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

The Young Faith Class will have an ice cream social at the church on Saturday, February 11, at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

How many of you still have VHS tapes and tape machines?  I would guess that not many of you do especially our members with children.  The modern item to have is the DVD.  When I selected the "Veggie Tales" videos for this month's Library Corner, it made me wonder how many of you would be able to use them.  "Veggie Tales" are good videos for the 1‑5 year olds with excellent Christian values.  These videos can be found in the children's library in the Parlor.

You may also want to peruse the books in our other locations.  The other children's library center is downstairs in the social hall.  Take the elevator to level 2 and the library center is on your immediate left when you get off the elevator.  The youth library is located in the confirmation or 7‑8 grade Sunday school classroom.

For this month's adult book, I selected one of Janette Oke's books entitled "Love Comes Softly".  I think that I was drawn to the numerous Janette Oke books, because I saw that there are going to be some of her stories on the Hallmark Channel.  So, if you have missed the movies on TV, you can read her stories from our church library.

Our adult library is located in the Parlor across from the Welcome Center.
